Emergency Room
Cherry County Hospital's (CCH) Emergency Room (ER) is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are a Basic Level IV Trauma Center, as designated by the Nebraska Statewide Trauma System (Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services).
The main entrance to the ER is located on the east side of the hospital, accessible from Highway 12 on the south side. Clear signage will guide you to the Emergency Room, and parking is available nearby.
When you arrive at the ER and request assistance, a qualified medical professional will conduct a medical screening examination. Nursing staff are always present at CCH, and a medical staff member is on call at all times.
The Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA) regulates the protocols for the Emergency Room, and we strictly adhere to its guidelines.
